Posted by autumnseave in : Ramblings , trackbackHave you ever wished that you had more time for all the things you want to do? Sometimes I think that having a job - a day job with a boss I mean - just holds me back. But of course, that day job is what pays the bills.
One of the things that I am really fascinated with lately is sex blogging. I don’t mean blogging like this where I can write whenever I want and whatever I want. I mean blogging with the intent of making money - promoting other sites. I’ve been really into it lately and have discovered some new ways to make it more efficient but I still don’t have time to do as much of it as I would like to. I currently have two handwritten blogs and ? about 8 RSS fed sponsor blogs. Strangely enough I do the posts for one of the sponsor fed blogs but I figure I might as well put those to best use. The key in this type of blogging is to have lots of blogs - some “splogs” (the sponsor fed ones) and some handwritten blogs. I’m working at it.
I’d also love to have time to write for more clients. I currently have two clients that I write for regularly and provide me with a tidy little extra income that I’ve come to expect. I enjoy the work. I see other writing opportunities that I know I could get hired with but I just don’t have time to do it all.
Then there’s friends and family. I’d love to be able to spend more time hanging out, playing with my kids, listening to them chat about their school life and such (and strangely enough they are actually doing that a lot more often). I’d like to be able to take them away to places for vacation and just have fun with them. But time seems so rare.
I’d love to have time to decorate my apartment the way I’d like to.
More time would be wonderful. I know that everyone almost feels like there is not enough time but I wish I could do something about it you know? I hate having to say, “I just don’t have the time!”
