Where Does Your Traffic Come From? February 8, 2008
Posted by autumnseave in : Ramblings , trackbackI think every blogger and everyone who has a web site keeps track of what people are searching for when they find their site. Sometimes it’s just curiousity and other times it is so you can further optimize your site and increase it’s rank in the search engines. So I look at how people are finding Inky Blue Allusions quite often. Pretty much everyday to be exact.
Most of it is pretty expected. Like these ones:
inkyblueallusions.net 19.8 %
inkyblueallusions 11.8 %
www.inkyblueallusions.net 28 9.2 %
inky blue allusions 6.6 %
personalized erotic stories 8 2.6 %
erotic reading 1.6 %
read erotica 1.3 %
The one that really has me baffled is this one though:
suicide girl 13.2 %
Suicide girl? I mean, I had a point when I was completely enamoured by the Suicide Girls - I even have a membership. But how are people finding my site by searching that? I don’t get it. I don’t have a story about them, I don’t have an affiliate membership (do they have one?) and I don’t have them even in my Links section. So where the hell are those searches coming from? I can’t even find IBA in the sites that come up when I do search for it myself.
So what’s up with that?
