About Autumn
Welcome to Dreams of an Erotica Queen. This is the blog of Autumn Seave (me). I am the webmistress of Inky Blue Allusions, an erotica writer, and a adult text content writer.
I started writing when I was 12 years old. My first poem was called “First Love” and was filled with anguished heartbroken clichés. Since then I have written and published poetry, short stories, book reviews, restaurant reviews, and interviews with writers and others in the arts. I currently write for a local G/L/B/T paper and in September of 2003 one of my stories was published in a national anthology. But I don’t write for recognition. Seeing my name in print is just a bonus. I write because the words won’t stop coming. I write because the characters inside my head need a voice - they are heard in my writing. I write because it allows me to be a person that I’d like to play with or love or experiment with. To quote myself, I write, “to give myself the gift of inky blue allusions.”
In my other everyday life, I am a 35-year-old single mother of two kids. I walk my kids to school, I take the bus a lot, and I work a job where my co-workers have no clue as to what really goes on in my mind. I drink a lot of coffee and crave chocolate but manage not to give into the craving most of the time. I procrastinate over doing dishes and laundry until there are piles of dirty dishes and dirty clothes all over the place. I read whatever happens to be lying around – sometimes it is good and sometimes not so good. I hang out at my best friend’s house while the kids are in school if I don’t have to go to work. I write long rambling emails to my friends. And yes, sometimes I write erotic stories.
I write these stories because it is fun. And when you have read one of my stories, I want you to walk away with a smile; with a little bit of a giggle; with some new ideas to try out on your lover; with a fantasy in your mind as you play with your favorite toy. After I have written a story, I feel happy and there is never enough happiness in the world so I hope I can share it with you.
