“They watched for only a short time before they joined the people on the dance floor. I finally bought a domain for Torrid Text Content and now webmasters and bloggers needing content can find us at our new home. I thrilled to have a space for it. While I was at it I put enough cash into my account so I can get another domain but I don’t know what I want yet. I’m not sure if I want to do another adult based thing or if I want to start a mainstream site. And if I do mainstream I have to decide on what the topic should be. There are many writers who are against it under any circumstances and they have their own reasons. However, submitting a short story or multiple stories to be published on several websites can have its benefits.
- Publicity. Everyone who wants to make money needs to have publicity. There are many opportunities for a paid advertising such as paying for clicks (like with Google Adsense) or paying to have an ad on a site. But there aren’t as many ways to get free publicity. Letting another story publish one of your stories with links back to your blog, your web site, or places that you want to bring attention to on the net gives you one option for free publicity.
- Traffic. If you have a blog or a web site that you want to get traffic you need to have incoming links. Shared links are good (when you link to me and I link to you) but one way links are better. Most places that give a link in exchange for a story do not require you to link back to them.
- You retain all rights to your story. That means you can request the story to be removed at any time and submit it elsewhere.
- Published clips. If you are a new writer, this gives you a place to direct editors to your work.
While some may find that the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, it all depends on your purposes.
With that in mind, Inky Blue Allusions has changed its publishing policies. We are still publishing e-books and serials for which writers will recieve a percentage of sales. However, to keep our Free Stories section hopping, we are not paying for stories. We encourage writers who are interested in getting published clips on the net or are interested in getting traffic to blogs or websites to submit stories for consideration. They can be of any length from 500 words and up.

I plan to keep everything the Dreams blog had and hope to implement some new stuff. I am also hoping that some of the IBA writers will choose to participate in this blog so that you can get to know them all a bit better.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be moving over some of the posts from the Dreams blog, but only the ones I really want to keep. The Power of Words October 10, 2007
Posted by admin in : Inky Blue Allusions News, Ramblings , add a commentYou know, I sometimes forget how lucky I am to be able to put paper to pen (or in most cases fingers to keyboard) to create a combonation of words that can reach out and turn on my husband. I love to write a love letter that makes him feel special or write out a fantasy that will plant ideas in his mind. Or sometimes I love writing a story that I know he’s been fantasizing about.
But not everyone is as comfortable with words as I am.
I guess that’s one of the reasons why I love writing personalized stories for people, especially when I know it is a couple that is going to share and enjoy the stories together. Personalized stories for couples are fun to write because it keeps my creativity going and allows me to write something that I might not have considered writing before. It also makes me feel good to know that my writing can be useful to someone else.
I hope those that have gotten personalized erotica stories written by me have enjoyed reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them!
