It’s time for another High Five Friday! And because I am not at work today (I LOVE long weekends) I can actually get this up in time! Let’s see, who shall I start with?
1. Writing about sex does not make you a sexual olympian! - Trish Wilson blogs about writing about sex and how it affects her life and how other people look at her. Great post Trish!
2. Delicious photos! - I simply love the photos that these two come up with at Hamlet and Lorali’s Pornotopia. Some very erotic pictures and sometimes some erotic text in between.
3. Erotic poetry - I loved this erotic poem at Perfect Marriage. Erotic poetry is something I haven’t touched in a long time and this has inspired me to take a look at some of my older stuff and maybe pen some more (Kind of as a 3B you have to read their About Us - it is simply touching to see a man who puts that much thought into his relationship).
4. If you have a busy life this article at Speak Sexy is a must. Scheduling time in for sex might seem like it is just too much but you do what you have to do to keep the fires burning right? And those sexy pictures don’t hurt any either!
5. A great reminder that porn is not the boogie man, this article was interesting.

1. Chris Blogging - if you’re a freelance writer, whether erotic writer or otherwise, you need goals if you want to see any money coming in. Chris has a few good pointers and any time Chris has pointers it is a good idea to pay attention because he’s one of the writers out there actually living the dream and living fairly well!
2. Dark Erotica: Writing the LOVE scene… - this post has been up for a month already but if you haven’t read it yet you should. Great advice for erotica writers who are trying to be more couples focused.

Tipping for Love and Traffic February 4, 2008

Many aren’t in the blogging business for money - it’s just a for fun thing. But blogging does take time and it doesn’t hurt to make a little extra cash to keep things running at the same time does it?
One of the great ways I’ve found that could be helpful in doing this is the Tip Box. This isn’t a traditional tip box like you can put on your blog with PayPal but something a little different. When someone leaves you a tip they are also able to leave a link to their site with a short message. So, good for them, good for you.
Off to the left you’ll see my little tip box. If you leave a tip (only $1) you can also leave your link.

1. Do you believe in ghost? If so have you every seen one?
Yes I do, and yes, I have. When I was a kid we lived in a trailor. Yes, the kind in a trailor lot. But ours was out in the country in this little valley beside a river. Well, there was an flood one summer and the river came right up over the banks and pretty soon our little trailor was bobbing around in the water with the cat freaking out inside and trying to squish himself between the window panes. Fortunately, we were in the city at the time it happened so no one was hurt. The dogs in the kennel were set free by the neighbors and the cat even survived. But our poor little trailor was not so liveable for awhile. So, being fairly broke, we took what we could get, which was a little shack that had last been used to store grain for the winter. It had mice and was very drafty and it had no indoor toilet. The toilet was about twenty feet out back. You’re not trule white trash until you’ve lived in a house where the main bathroom was outside in a biffy! Anyway, I woke up one night to see these two figures standing at the end of the bed. They were obviously human but they had no faces or distinguishing features. The were glowing and they were silent. They were just watching me. I was scared shitless and hid under the covers until they went away. To this day I wonder why they were watching me. Did their own child sleep in that bed once upon a time?
2. What’s the scariest movie you ever saw?
I don’t know…it’s a toss up between Blair Witch Project (partially because I watched it for the first time at my sister’s house and she lives in the country with her house all surrounded by big birch trees and spruce trees and I had to smoke outside and I got so shit scared I couldn’t smoke for more than two minutes) and Carrie. I had heard about Carrie and seen commercials but I didn’t watch it until I was an adult and when that hand came out of the fresh grave I damn near shit my pants.
3. If you were given a house that was free would you accept it if it was haunted?
Hell, no!
4. If you were given a house that was free would you accept it if the last person had been murdered in it?
Again, hell, no!
5. What was your most favorite costume you wore for Halloween?
I can’t remember how old I was but I was a gypsy one year. I loved it because my Nana helped me put together a costume from the dress up clothes that she kept for us and I got to wear makeup and cool clip on hoop earrings. My Bompy took me trick or treating that year and it was a blast.
